During my internship in a start-up incubator, I found Private Equity quite technical so I wanted to follow a dedicated seminar to improve my skills ahead of finding a job in the sector. In the Chair we learned about different aspects of PE, from fund structuring and fund raising, to the day-to-day operations themselves. We also had to analyze an operation in order to write a business case, which I really enjoyed. The Chair enabled us to meet high level Private Equity players in their everyday work, and the availability of the Chair partners is a huge plus. |

With prior internships in a PE fund of funds and in investment banking, I already had some knowledge about PE. I found that the curriculum provides you with the necessary background if you want to work in the industry. You get to know lots of professionals, either thought the seminar, or in the course of your project. The interactive courses are what I enjoyed most – these are very effective and the learning curve is really steep. The project required a lot of work, but I had a great time discovering a complex deal and writing a case study about it. The PE chair is definitely a highlight on your CV. |

I was doing an internship in a Leverage Finance team in London when I heard about the chair. The internship had already motivated me to further explore this field, so I jumped on the opportunity! The benefits of the program were threefold: a coursework covering most aspects of Private Equity; presentations by active professionals who told us about their day-to-day work and current market trends; and the creation of a case study based on a real business situation. I really enjoyed working on the creation of a case and it was really interesting to be on the “inside” of the structuring of a deal. |
