Conferences and meetings:
- A conference organized by the Chair took place on May 23th 2008, which was dedicated to:

- Meetings with the sponsors of the Chair took place early in the 2008 schoolyear:
- March 7th 2008: Françoise NOEL-MARQUIS and Frédéric ZEITOUN, Associates at Grant Thornton, presented their activities during a breakfast meeting at ESSEC, where they also answered the students' questions on the company's positionning and perspectives.
- March 20st 2008: Linklaters invited the students to a presentation in their Paris office. Agnès PESCHARD, Lawyer, and Fabienne GAVILA, Recruitment Manager, presented the company's activities. They were later joined by ESSEC Alumni working at Linklaters who shared their experience with the students.
- March 26th 2008: Guillaume Jacqueau, General Manager, and Grégoire Schlumberger, Manager at Barclays Private Equity presented the activities of the company to the students of the Chair during a seminar they gave at ESSEC.
- May 29th 2007: Gonzagues de BLIGNIERES, Managing Director of Barclays Private Equity France and Co-Head of Barclays Private Equity Europe, and Grégoire SCHLUMBERGER, Manager at Barclays Private Equity France, presented the activities of the company to the students of the Chair in a breakfast meeting that was organised at ESSEC EME at La Defense. - March 27th 2007: Grant Thornton presented its activities to the students of the Chair in a breakfast meeting that took place at ESSEC EME at La Defense. Françoise NOEL-MARQUIS, Associate, along with Marc JEGADEN, provided the students with a complete description of the company's activities and developments. Here is a picture of the event.
- March 23rd 2007: students of the Chair were invited to participate in the conference « Le financement des sociétés de croissance en France » , organized at Palais du Luxembourg by the EM Lyon Finance Club, with the participation of Philippe ADNOT, Senator of the Aube. The conference was animated by Jean ROGNETTA, independant journalist for Capital Finance/Les Echos.
- March 16th 2007: Linklaters invited the students of the Chair to a presentation in their Paris office. Vincent PONSONNAILLE, Partner, and Fabienne GAVILA, Recruitment Manager, presented the activities of Linklaters worldwide, as well as the opportunities offered by the company. ESSEC Alumni working at Linklaters also shared their experience with the students.
- March 7th 2007: Chair students attended the AFIC Conference on “Social Impact of Companies under LBO” , which took place at the Salons France-Amérique in Paris.
