NEW: Starting 2009-2010, the Private Equity Chair removes its admission process and opens its seminar to all ESSEC MBA students.

Starting 2009-2010, the Private Equity Seminar (FINE 31041) changes its format:

• The Private Equity Seminar becomes a regular MBA course:

• There is no longer specific admission process.
• Students interested in taking the class should register following the regular registration procedure (bidding) and within the regular registration dates. Please check myessec.com for ESSEC MBA registration information.
• Students from other ESSEC programs, namely specialized Masters Students, may register to the class, as long as there are seats available and they have the required background. Please contact us at the time of registration.
  
  
• IMPORTANT: Prerequisite courses:
  
  The Private Equity Seminar is an advanced Finance course. Students interested in taking the seminar should have completed (or be in the process of completing) the following courses:
  
  
• FINE31126 Finance d’Entreprise (available in T1, T2 and T3) OR FINE31128 Corporate Financial Management (available in T2 and T3)
• FINE31252 Fusions et Acquisitions (available in T1) OR FINE31253 Mergers and Acquisitions (available in T2 and T3)
•  MGTE31364 Capital Investissement OR MGTE31365 Introduction to Private Equity (available in T1, T2 and T3)
  
  
• The Seminar is scheduled on Wednesdays, at 4.30 pm during T3 2009-2010. There are 40 seats available.
